Conversations With An Unwanted Fetus

My Story

Conversations With An Unwanted Fetus is the never dull, WTF moment-filled story of my experiences in living here on Earth.

The story begins at the end of the Vietnam War where my beautiful loving perfect family served in Scotland, their happy live suddenly came to an end with the death of my sister, at just 6 months old.

Shortly after that I was born, the parentals split up, I only spent 2 weeks living with my family. My Granny grabbed me up out of my crib and carried me home with her on that 14th day of my life.

A typical upbringing was not what I had. Nowhere close. And now you can read the entire crazy story of how I came to be the sparking ray of sunshine I am today.

Education & Experience

My path into technology wasn’t linear—it was layered, lived, and shaped by real‑world problem‑solving long before I ever wrote a line of code or stepped into a product role. My formal education provided the technical foundation, but it was my years in the field—working directly with people, navigating complex situations, and translating needs into action—that refined how I think and build.

Before reentering the tech industry, I spent more than two decades in customer‑facing roles. That experience became its own kind of education: a masterclass in human behavior, communication, and the psychology of decision‑making. I learned how people articulate their needs, how they hide their frustrations, and how they respond when a solution truly works. Those insights now inform every product, system, and experience I design.

As I transitioned back into tech, I expanded my skill set through hands‑on learning, self‑directed study, and real project work—ranging from UX and product strategy to operational design and systems thinking. I’ve built processes, trained teams, created service frameworks, and developed tools that make complex workflows feel intuitive.

My education gave me the technical vocabulary. My experience taught me how to listen, interpret, and solve. Together, they shape the way I approach every challenge: with curiosity, clarity, and a commitment to building solutions that genuinely serve the people who use them.
